Mountaintown Baptist Church is Ellijay’s oldest church, established in 1840! We exist to love God, love people and make a difference in our community and world. We want to empower people to experience an authentic relationship with God wherever they are. Through sermons, worship, small groups, children’s and youth ministries, we aim to translate the culture of heaven into daily life.
Join our community of believers! We are committed to Glorifying God through Spiritual Growth, Celebration Worship, offerings to further god’s kingdom, and Prayer. It is our intention to enable every believer to achieve the Supernatural Plan God has for them and thus Glorify Him (John 17:4).
